The Event Mobile Application (EMA-i) is a digital tool developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to strengthen animal disease surveillance and early warning systems, particularly in developing countries. It allows users—such as field veterinarians and livestock officers—to collect and submit geo-referenced, real-time reports on animal disease outbreaks directly from the field using smartphones.
