AfriAgrimark Enterprise

Afriagrimark is a geo-logistics marketplace revolutionizing the way small-scale farmers, drivers, and vendors interact within Africa’s agricultural supply chain. Founded in 2020 by Bonface Nyalwal, Afriagrimark is tackling one of the continent’s most persistent problems: the lack of fair, efficient market access for smallholder farmers. The company provides a seamless farm-to-market platform that not only coordinates the movement of fresh produce but also arranges for credit solutions, allowing retailers to purchase larger baskets of vegetables and pay later, thereby improving liquidity and boosting trade volumes.

Afriagrimark’s solution consists of three interconnected modules:
- Farmer Module: Local agents work directly with farmers, helping them list produce on the platform and adopt quality control practices. These agents ensure farmers are trained and supported throughout the process.
- Driver Module: The platform dispatches nearby drivers to pick up aggregated produce orders, perform a secondary quality check, and deliver the goods to vendors. The logistics process is fully trackable by all parties involved.
- Vendor Module: Vendors in urban markets place orders via the platform, access diverse vegetable baskets, and benefit from buy-now-pay-later credit terms to facilitate larger purchases.
