MajiAgri Solutions Limited aims to provide climate coping mechanisms for African smallholder farmers by increasing irrigation possibilities. MajiAgri Solutions enables farmers to shift to irrigated practices, which helps them achieve up to five times more yields per given area, while also allowing them to grow a variety of high-value crops throughout the year. With these positive results, farmers are able to recoup their investment costs within three planting seasons. We accomplish this through the installation of small farm ponds that harvest and store groundwater or roof water whenever it rains. The ponds are designed to avoid the challenges associated with conventional earth dams. Additionally, we install water- and space-efficient multi-storey or vertical gardens, while also providing climate-smart agronomic advice.
