Lersha

Lersha is operational in the Somali region in Ethiopia. Pastoralists and farmers access resources to meet their production needs using technology, either directly or through Lersha agents. The platform combines a mobile application, a call center and agents to facilitate transactions with the producers. Lersha's agricultural marketplace empowers farmers to effortlessly purchase inputs and mechanization services. Utilizing the expertise of the digitally-enabled agents, farmers are helped to make informed decisions backed by credible advice. Through the convenience of a mobile app, these agents offer seamless service delivery, eliminating transportation costs for smallholder farmers while enhancing their overall experience.
